The house sits of an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds. A picturesque brick patio leads to the house past a beautiful pergola. There are spectacular views of Duxbury Bay from the first floor of the house and the veranda. Decorated by accomplished interior designers, this Federal style home is the essence of charm and elegance. The formal dining room opens to the veranda. The newly redesigned kitchen has all the modern conveniences for caterers. The entire first floor, veranda and grounds of the house are available for functions. The first floor is handicapped accessible.
Rates: Rates vary depending on the type of function and size of the event. Rental fees do not include tables, chairs, tents, linens, or catering. Please call or e-mail for more information on rates. Directions: From Route 3 South take exit 11, Route 14 East (turn right at end of ramp). Follow Route 14 East for 2 miles to the traffic light at the intersection of Route 3A. Proceed straight through the traffic light onto St. George Street for 1 mile. St. George Street ends at an intersection with a large flag pole in the center. Take a right onto Washington Street. After approximately ½ mile, the Nathaniel Winsor, Jr. House will be on your left on the corner of Washington Street and Mattakeesett Court. Parking is located behind the house and can be accessed by taking a left onto Mattakeesett Court. Parking is also permitted on the east side of Washington Street.
