Thinking Summer?  Think Museums!

Planning ahead toward the summer months?  Consider becoming a docent (tour guide) at one or both of our museums, the King Caesar House and the Captain Gershom Bradford House.  Docents receive training to give informative tours to visitors and can work as little as once a month or as frequently as once a week.  The three-hour shifts will be scheduled to meet your individual needs.

The benefits of being a docent are many.  Experienced docents tell us they enjoy learning all the details of Duxbury’s history and the interesting families that lived in the King Caesar and Bradford Houses.  They enjoy meeting people from all over the world who come to visit our historic sites.  And they very much enjoy the camaraderie of working with the other docents.
